Events and Special Projects Co-ordinator

The Truro & Colchester Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, individual with strong multi-tasking skills to join its team as a permanent, full-time Events and Special Projects Co-ordinator.

The Chamber of Commerce is an accredited professional organization dedicated to advocating on behalf of business with a vision for the business community to be collaborative, connected and thriving.

The Events and Special Co-ordinator would be responsible for organizing events, including seeking sponsorships, booking venues and catering, while meeting operational strategic plan goals and budget requirements. They will work with the Executive Director on special projects to increase the Chamber’s sustainability and efficiency including tourism and economic development-related initiatives, travel programs, accreditation, marketing and others.

This is a full-time position with benefits, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., occasional evenings/weekends would be required.
